Printing at the Library and on Campus

This guide will walk students through different printing options in the Wolfgram Memorial Library and other locations on campus.

Desktop Printing

Step 1: Log in to a desktop

To print from a desktop in the library, you will need to login to the desktop with your Widener credentials. Once you're logged in, you can pull up your document to print from wherever you have it saved (email, cloud, Canvas, etc.). Select the "Print" option in the program.

Step 2: Choose your printer

The printer will default to a destination printer called Widener_All. This means you can print from any Black & White printer on campus after you've submitted your print job. To print in color, you will need to select the printer destination down arrow and select Widener_Color. This will make sure that your print job shows up at the color printer located on the Main level of the library.

Step 3: Enter a job name and a password

After you have selected to print your job, a dialogue box will pop up and prompt you to put in a job name and a password. This is for you to identify your print job when you go to a printing station. You can put in any print job name you'd like. Entering a password is optional if you'd like to ensure no one else prints your documents.

Step 4: Go to a printer and print

Visit any one of the Black & White printers or visit the Color printer, depending on which is applicable to your print job. You can find the locations of all printers on campus in the Locations tab. Swipe your ID card at the small box next to the printer. There, you will see the name of the print job you entered at the desktop. Select your job and enter the password if applicable. Your document will then print out at the printer next to the box.
